Motherhood Lifestyle Session

Being a mother myself, it is hard to find time or feel the need to step in front of the camera to get photos with our babies.

One of the biggest things I hear is, my house is a mess.

Life with kids means accepting the messes that are made around the house.

Sounds like a hard pill to swallow but hear me out.

One day the endless amounts of laundry will slowly disappear, the toys scattered all over the living room floor will no longer be there.

The house will slowly get quieter as the children grow older.

One day you will miss these moments.

Just a mom and her babies living everyday life!

Why do I love Motherhood Sessions? Because of this session right here! It took us an hour to make these sentimental and beautiful portraits that tell the story of what their everyday life look like. Yes, you and yours look this lovely too! If you look close, what we really love about these is the connection, those embraces, and the playfulness. Everything else is a sweet background.

At Home Sessions are Stress Free

One of the biggest reasons why I reccomend you doing your session at home, it is stress free! There is no stressing about traveling to a studio or unfamiliar location. At home you’re in your own space which means? Relax, and play with your babies in your own environment!

Comfort is Key

When you're comfortable, especially in your own space you are more relaxed. Which in return reflects into your photos! You’ll be able to not feel stiff and capture the real life moments. Showing the joy and connection that you and your family share together. Even small activities can show a beautiful story. Letting your kids help you get seedlings ready for spring gardening. Enjoying a snack together and even playing dress up in the livingroom. Your home does not have to look like Pinterest. You are a mom with growing children, creating moments that will one day become a memory. Do not let that hold you back from capturing these moments!
